He clarified that the recent visit by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni to Kuwait, and her meeting with His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah (may God protect and support him), in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah (may God protect and support him), and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister, constituted a historic and important milestone in the trajectory of bilateral relations.
He added that the visit resulted in the signing of a series of important agreements and the adoption of the Kuwaiti-Italian Joint Action Plan for the years 2027–2030, which serves as a roadmap to enhance cooperation between the two countries over the next four years.
Ambassador Morini outlined that the plan includes ambitious goals encompassing political dialogue, defense, security, economic, and judicial cooperation, as well as cultural, social, and environmental fields, emphasizing that implementing this plan will be among his top priorities in the coming phase, in coordination with relevant Kuwaiti authorities.
