Ministry of Commerce prepares to launch the unified digital gateway with updated services

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is preparing to update all its services by launching the Unified Digital Portal, which consolidates all services on a single website to facilitate the business environment. The ministry will offer all its electronic services through the portal via a new window.

Sources told Al-Jarida that the unified platform represents an update and enhancement of previously existing services, streamlining their operation. The Ministry of Commerce provides access to the Unified Digital Portal (ONE MOCI) through a dedicated window on its new website, offering comprehensive electronic services. The sources noted that the development processes are in their final stages, paving the way for the portal’s full-scale launch.

The portal features key services including company establishment and management, management of personal companies and their transactions, a licensing system for joint-stock companies, management of the commercial register, trademarks, exhibitions, and transactions for sole establishments, among other consumer protection services.

The portal aligns with the ministry’s vision of facilitating business operations and ensuring the sustainable provision of goods and services to citizens. It also supports the implementation of the commercial platform, which involves digitizing all Ministry of Commerce services into electronic formats, thereby reducing paper usage and eliminating the need for citizens to visit the ministry in person.

Notably, among the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Commerce, derived from the state’s development plan, are several initiatives focused on developing infrastructure. The ministry aims to enhance infrastructure to facilitate the transition to the state’s digital platform for conducting business, keeping pace with advancements in electronic services and achieving the goals of the state’s development plan.
