Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho, the head coach of Real Madrid, expressed satisfaction with his team’s 3-0 clean-sheet victory over Racing Santander yesterday in the Spanish La Liga, affirming that the club continues to improve both tactically and physically.
Mourinho stated that the match was not easy against a strong opponent that benefited from the support of its fans, noting that Real Madrid could have scored four or five goals.
He added, “We delivered a strong first half and handled the high pressure imposed by the opponent well. It is an important win in a difficult week for us.”
He further noted that Real Madrid has shown gradual progress since his appointment less than four months ago.
