Asico Group Participates in 'Build Your Home' Exhibition in Qatar to Showcase Products

Asico Group showcased its construction products at the seventh edition of the “Build Your Home” exhibition, held from October 26 to 28 at the Qatar National Convention Centre. The event featured a select group of specialized companies in the construction, design, building materials, and smart solutions sectors.

Asico Group highlighted its capabilities in manufacturing building materials and its extensive experience spanning over 35 years, alongside its strong regional presence. Its manufacturing operations extend from Kuwait to Qatar and Saudi Arabia, reflecting the Group’s capacity to meet the needs of Gulf markets by providing reliable, high-quality construction solutions. This is achieved through an integrated business model that combines manufacturing, construction, and engineering activities.

The Group’s participation in the exhibition stems from the strategic importance of the Qatari market within its regional operations. Asico maintains a significant presence in Qatar through Qatar Cellular Concrete Industries, established in 2005. The Asico Qatar factory produces a comprehensive range of cellular concrete products for the local market, including blocks, lintels, walls, and reinforced slabs, enabling clients and developers to obtain an integrated building system from a single source.

Asico Qatar’s products are utilized in a wide array of prominent residential and service projects across the country. Notable examples include five stadiums for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the “Our City” project and the Argentine Village, the Al Mamelons residential complex in Umm Salal, which comprises 667 villas, as well as projects in the Boulevard area of Lusail, including several schools, residential towers, and restaurants.

The cellular concrete products offered by the factory are distinguished by their lightweight nature, high efficiency, and ability to provide thermal and acoustic insulation. They are also resistant to pests and mold, and offer design flexibility, all of which contribute to accelerating construction timelines and improving cost efficiency. Furthermore, these products offer fire resistance of up to four hours, as certified by the Qatar Civil Defense, and help reduce electricity consumption by approximately 30%. They also comply with municipal requirements and the “Estidama” program standards for external walls.
