Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ismail Baghai said that Tehran is considering a plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within two days, provided the United States accepts its demands, after it had previously proposed a one-week deadline.
Baghai stated that “the possibility of implementing this plan within two days is additional evidence of Iran’s good intentions. We have emphasized that security in the Strait of Hormuz can be restored and negotiations resumed within a short period if Iran’s demands are met,” adding that “message exchanges are still ongoing through intermediaries.”
