Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, commented on a message from JD Vance, Vice President-elect under Donald Trump, stating: “I have read the message and have not yet responded. The tone has changed completely, which is a very positive sign that Iran has consolidated its strength and achieved victory.”
Rezaei added in an interview with Iran’s state-run radio and television on the evening of Saturday, October 31: “Since the other side has not disclosed any of the contents of the message, we will also say nothing at this time.”
Regarding the possibility of changing Iran’s nuclear doctrine, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council said: “No new decision has been made yet by the state or the system. However, this discussion is underway as to whether we want to maintain the same doctrine in the event of another war. No decision has been taken, but the Iranian people are seeking to achieve reasonable demands.”
