From the End...

For decades, our courts have rendered verdicts in accordance with the law against convicted individuals, whether Kuwaiti citizens or residents, without any embassy ever intervening to undermine or comment on those rulings. Yet yesterday, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran emerged not merely to overstep the bounds of propriety by intervening, but to appoint itself as judge and declare its citizen, accused in a case touching upon national security, innocent. By what logic did it become convinced of his innocence, if not through arrogance and a blatant disregard for the norms of sovereignty, the rule of law, and the fundamental principles of diplomacy?!
