Ooredoo Kuwait has renewed its strategic partnership with Al-Qabas newspaper to organize the fifth edition of the MoneyTech 2026 summit, scheduled for next Sunday at the St. Regis Kuwait hotel.
This partnership marks the second consecutive year, underscoring Ooredoo Kuwait’s commitment to supporting specialized dialogue platforms that bring together leaders, decision-makers, experts, and investors, and opening avenues for discussion on the future of technology, business, and investment, as well as the opportunities offered by digital transformations to enhance economic growth and consolidate Kuwait’s position as a regional hub for technology and innovation.
The MoneyTech summit is one of the annual platforms organized by Al-Qabas newspaper, bringing together the investment, business, and technology sectors, with the participation of a select group of executive leaders and experts from Kuwait, the region, and the world. In its fifth edition, the summit highlights the experiences of companies and leaders in facing challenges and ensuring business continuity, exploring new growth pathways, and discussing the opportunities technology offers for developing economic sectors and enhancing their competitiveness.
The strategic partnership between Ooredoo Kuwait and Al-Qabas reflects the importance of complementary roles among national institutions in supporting economic and technological dialogue, and providing platforms that enable the exchange of expertise and the exploration of cooperation opportunities, thereby contributing to strengthening the investment environment and supporting efforts toward a knowledge- and innovation-based digital economy.
On this occasion, Nof Mosaed Al-Mashaan, Executive Director of Strategy and Corporate Affairs at Ooredoo Kuwait, said: “We at Ooredoo Kuwait are proud to renew our strategic partnership with Al-Qabas newspaper for the second consecutive year to organize the MoneyTech summit, driven by our belief in the importance of such platforms in bringing together visions, expertise, and decision-makers regarding the opportunities that shape the future of the economy and technology in Kuwait and the region.
“Our continued partnership reflects our commitment to supporting every national project that enriches economic dialogue, opens the door to building new partnerships, and helps transform ideas and future trends into real-value opportunities and projects. Specialized conferences play a pivotal role in bridging perspectives, connecting decision-makers with investors and experts, and creating an appropriate environment for launching initiatives that support growth and development.”
Al-Mashaan added: “We are currently living in a stage where technological transformations are accelerating at an unprecedented pace, and the ability to keep pace with these transformations and invest in them has become a fundamental factor in determining the future of economies and enhancing their competitiveness. From this perspective, Ooredoo Kuwait leads the technological transformation journey by investing in advanced digital infrastructure, developing its capabilities and services, and building strategic partnerships that enable various sectors to benefit from modern technologies and utilize them in developing their businesses.”
She continued: “Our role at Ooredoo Kuwait extends to actively contributing to building an integrated digital ecosystem that enables institutions, companies, and entrepreneurs to access the capabilities they need for growth and innovation. We believe that investing in advanced networks, data centers, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions forms the foundation for a more diversified economy capable of attracting investments and creating new opportunities for future generations.”
Al-Mashaan emphasized that the relationship between technology and the economy has become more interconnected than ever, noting that digital development contributes to enhancing business efficiency, improving service quality, enabling companies to develop new business models, and strengthening markets’ ability to attract high-quality projects and investments.
She highlighted that the digital economy represents a genuine opportunity for Kuwait to enhance its competitiveness and build new knowledge- and innovation-based sectors. Kuwait possesses key assets that position it to confidently advance in this direction, leveraging its national workforce, institutions, and capacity to forge partnerships that combine local expertise with the best global experiences to export technology.
She added, “At Ooredoo Kuwait, we strive to be a key partner in this journey, leveraging our expertise and technological investments to support various institutions and sectors, enabling them to grow, expand, and compete. We look forward to Kuwait leading the countries that benefit from digital transformations to develop its economy and strengthen its standing at both the regional and global levels.”
Al-Mashaan pointed out that supporting the MoneyTech Summit aligns with Ooredoo Kuwait’s direction to contribute to achieving the “New Kuwait 2035” vision, which includes aspirations to build a diversified and sustainable economy, enhance the role of the private sector, develop infrastructure, and support innovation and investment in national talent.
She affirmed that realizing Kuwait’s vision requires coordinated efforts and integrated roles among various stakeholders, as well as platforms that bring partners together to discuss priorities, explore opportunities, and build fruitful relationships. Hence, the importance of specialized conferences lies in their ability to accelerate and enable the vision by linking national aspirations with expertise, investments, and initiatives capable of delivering tangible impact.
She added, “We believe the private sector is a fundamental partner in this journey, and its responsibility extends beyond investing in its own business to contributing to building a more diversified and sustainable economic future. At Ooredoo Kuwait, we are committed to fulfilling this role through our investments, partnerships, and initiatives that support digital transformation, enhance the innovation ecosystem, and provide new opportunities for national talent and Kuwaiti youth.”
Concluding her statement, Al-Mashaan said, “We are proud of our partnership with Al-Jarida newspaper and value its role in organizing this summit and bringing together a select group of leaders and experts to discuss issues shaping the future of the economy and business. We look forward to this year’s edition contributing to strengthening dialogue, opening new avenues for cooperation, and generating ideas and partnerships that support Kuwait’s development and digital transformation journey.”
She added, “At Ooredoo Kuwait, we will continue to lead our efforts toward the future, working with our partners to empower technology and innovation, and develop the digital infrastructure required by economic sectors. We are driven by the conviction that building a strong digital economy begins with a clear vision, sustainable investments, and partnerships that believe in Kuwait’s capabilities and aspirations.”
