The initiative brought together participants in a humanitarian event aimed at raising awareness about breast cancer, emphasizing the importance of regular screenings and their role in early detection, as well as expressing solidarity with women and their families whose lives have been affected by the disease.
The event served as an opportunity to strengthen community dialogue on health issues impacting women’s lives, highlight the importance of joint initiatives in promoting health culture, and encourage women to take care of their health. The green spaces and welcoming atmosphere at Martyr’s Park added a community dimension to the gathering.
Monah Haddad Al-Khoury, President of International Women’s Group and wife of the Lebanese Ambassador to Kuwait, praised the collaboration with Cancer Aware Nation and its ongoing efforts to raise awareness about cancer, and to encourage prevention and early detection.
The Group’s participation in this initiative aligns with its efforts to support community and humanitarian activities, enhance women’s role in raising awareness, and engage in initiatives that benefit society, driven by the importance of collective action and solidarity in supporting women’s health and improving quality of life.
