Easy Mission for Inter Milan Against Venezia

Inter Milan face a relatively easy fixture as they travel to face Venezia in the ninth round of the Italian Serie A.

Inter top the table ahead of this round with 22 points, benefiting from their hard-fought 2-1 victory over Fiorentina in their last match. They continue their strong title defense, led by Marcus Thuram and promising newcomer Francesco Esposito, in the absence of Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez due to injury.

For their part, Venezia sit at the bottom of the table with just three points, having recently suffered another defeat to Genoa by a clean sheet, making their task of stopping the league champions nearly impossible.

AC Milan enter the match following their last victory against Udinese 2-0, thanks to the outstanding performance of their star player Christian Pulisic, while Bologna aim to build on their recent win against Cagliari, despite the difficulty of the task at the San Siro.

In another match in the same round, Genoa host Juventus. The team, managed by Luciano Spalletti, seeks to regain its balance domestically, particularly after its last victory over Lecce.

Juventus sit seventh with 14 points, just four points behind the top four positions, which qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League. The Black and Whites failed to achieve this last season, settling for participation in the Europa League this campaign.

In the rest of the round’s fixtures, Parma face Udinese, and Monza take on Napoli.
