Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, held talks on Tuesday with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on regional developments.
The Qatari Diwan Al-Amiri said in a statement that the Emir of Qatar met with the Iranian president ahead of the eighth summit of heads of state and government of member countries of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), held at the World Trade Center in the Russian capital, Moscow.
The meeting reviewed regional developments, including the latest developments in negotiations, the Strait of Hormuz, and energy supplies, as well as topics on the summit’s agenda.
