Kuwait’s Minister of Finance, Dr. Yaqoob Sayyid Yusuf Al-Rafai, received today the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the State of Kuwait, Paramita Tripathi, to discuss ways to develop joint cooperation and strengthen the economic and investment partnership between the two friendly countries.
During the meeting, both sides affirmed the strength of the historical ties between Kuwait and India, and the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation across various economic and financial fields to serve the mutual interests of the two countries. They also reviewed existing areas of cooperation and opportunities for their development, particularly in investment, technological cooperation, and economic development, in a manner that contributes to supporting sustainable economic growth and enhancing the exchange of expertise and knowledge between the two sides.
The meeting also addressed a number of topics of mutual interest and economic developments on both the regional and international fronts. Both sides stressed the importance of enhancing economic dialogue and intensifying communication between the relevant authorities in the two countries, thereby supporting the prospects for bilateral cooperation and opening new avenues for economic and financial partnership.
