Public Works Minister Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan received, on Sunday, the British Ambassador to Kuwait, Qudsi Rashid, in a courtesy visit.
During the meeting, friendly exchanges took place and several topics of mutual interest were discussed, along with ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Minister Al-Mashaan underscored the deep and distinguished historical ties between Kuwait and the United Kingdom, commending the progress witnessed in various fields, and expressed her aspiration to strengthen areas of joint cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of both friendly nations.
In a separate development, Eng. Khaled Al-Asimi, Director General of the Roads Engineering Affairs Administration at the Ministry of Public Works, conducted an inspection tour to monitor the progress of works under the maintenance contract for the Abdali and Jahra roads, and to assess on-site the implementation of plans for comprehensive maintenance of the road network.
The tour included monitoring ongoing maintenance works on the Jahra Road heading toward Kuwait City, specifically in the area between stations (22+350) and (24+220), opposite the city of Saad Al-Abdullah.
