The General Directorate of Emergency Police carried out a security campaign covering all governorates of the country, as part of its ongoing field efforts to enhance security presence, apprehend wanted individuals and lawbreakers, and counter practices that violate the law, thereby contributing to maintaining public security and raising the level of security and traffic discipline.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of four individuals in possession of narcotics, one person in possession of intoxicants, two individuals in abnormal conditions, two wanted for criminal offenses, and 125 individuals wanted for security reasons, in addition to the arrest of 25 individuals lacking valid identification documents.
The campaign also led to the seizure of eight vehicles wanted by the judiciary, the impoundment of 23 vehicles for traffic violations, and the removal of 13 abandoned vehicles in cooperation with the Kuwait Municipality, bringing the total number of security and traffic measures taken during the campaign to 203.
