The Governor of the Capital, Sheikh Abdullah Salem Al-Ali, received a number of traffic officials at his office in the Governorate building, including Assistant Director of Traffic for Planning and Traffic Engineering, Brigadier General Muqaddam Meshal Al-Shahman, Director of Traffic Engineering, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Burrubai, and Head of the Engineering Department, Engineer Mohammed Al-Sarraf. Also present from the Traffic Engineering Department were Engineers Abrar Al-Salman and Shaha Al-Nafisi.
During the meeting, several topics related to the condition of streets and roads in the Governorate were reviewed, along with the challenges requiring intervention and coordination among relevant authorities.
Al-Ali praised the efforts made by security personnel and specialized teams in monitoring traffic conditions and developing road infrastructure, emphasizing the importance of continuing field work and joint coordination to address observations and difficulties, enhance road safety, and contribute to preserving lives and property while improving traffic flow.
The Governor stressed the need to intensify efforts to address technical and traffic-related issues on various streets across the Governorate, and to find appropriate solutions based on priorities and actual needs. He reaffirmed the Governorate’s commitment to supporting the efforts of relevant authorities and removing obstacles in their path, in order to serve the public interest and improve the quality of services provided to citizens and residents.
