Liverpool player Ryan Gravenberch considered his standout performance, which earned him the man of the match award in Liverpool’s 4-3 Champions League victory over Villarreal, to be among his best displays during his relatively short stint with the English club.
Speaking to Prime Video, Gravenberch said, “I think this performance ranks among the best matches I’ve played. I enjoyed being on the pitch, and the team helped me a lot. I really enjoyed the game.”
Gravenberch delivered his best performance in a Liverpool shirt as the team overturned a two-goal deficit after 29 minutes to secure a valuable win, with Ronald Araújo and Florian Wirtz, who scored his first goal since last April, adding the other two goals.
