Fahad Al-Azmi, head of the municipal inspection team, said in a press statement that field teams are periodically monitoring construction activities across the six governorates to enforce the building regulations and ensure compliance.
He called on the violator, who had been issued a warning, to respond promptly and provide property permits confirming the increased building ratio.
Al-Azmi stated that today’s inspection round resulted in issuing three violation reports and seven warnings related to building regulations, and he affirmed that supervisory inspection teams would continue to monitor non-compliant properties.
He urged plot and home owners to follow the official Kuwait Municipality accounts to benefit from awareness messages and guidelines that will be published regularly, and to contact the municipality to inquire about any regulatory requirements, thereby facilitating their procedures and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
