The Kuwaiti Ministry of Islamic Affairs affirmed the exalted status that the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia holds in the hearts of Muslims, as the land of the Two Holy Mosques and the cradle of the Islamic message, emphasizing the importance of preserving its security and stability and rejecting any aggression targeting its territory or terrorizing its peaceful residents.
This came in the Friday sermon, which the Ministry designated for mosques across the country today, to underscore the deep fraternal and historical ties uniting the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the shared destiny of the two brotherly nations.
The Ministry noted that Islam is founded on principles of mercy, justice, security, peace, love, and brotherhood, and strives to safeguard human life and dignity, protect rights and property, and establish relationships among people based on justice and fairness.
It stressed that Islamic Sharia prohibits oppression and aggression against innocent lives, the terrorization of the secure, and threats to their lives, considering such acts among the great evils abhorred by Sharia and rejected by sound human nature.
It added that serving the Two Holy Mosques, caring for their visitors, and facilitating the means of Hajj and Umrah are noble deeds whose impact is felt by Muslims around the world. It clarified that the ties uniting the Kingdom with its sister nations are based on bonds of religion, proximity, history, and shared destiny.
It pointed out that it is a right of these fraternal ties to preserve them through loyalty, sincere affection, and standing by the Kingdom in all that achieves good, security, and stability, and to reject any aggression targeting its people or affecting its capabilities.
It also prayed to Almighty Allah to protect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to perpetuate upon it the blessings of security, safety, and stability, to shield it from all harm and evil, and to protect the State of Kuwait and all other Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Muslim lands. It prayed for the shedding of no innocent blood, the protection of innocent civilians, the healing of the wounded and injured, mercy for the deceased, the prevention of fitnas, wars, and destruction, and the bestowal of security, tranquility, and stability upon their peoples.
