Kuwait Technical College (KTC) announced that students majoring in Business Administration – Marketing are eligible to participate in the “Influencer+” program, offered by Lapa Loyak Academy, to enhance their skills in digital content creation and media, strengthen their communication and on-camera presentation abilities, and build a compelling digital presence through an educational experience that blends academic knowledge with practical application.
This initiative aligns with the college’s commitment to enriching students’ educational experiences and bridging academic knowledge with labor market demands by providing opportunities to learn from industry experts and practitioners, directly benefiting from their professional experiences. The college fully funds the participation of several outstanding students in the program.
“Influencer+” focuses on developing students’ skills across all stages of content production, from ideation, storytelling, scriptwriting, and scene planning, to filming, directing, production, and publishing across digital platforms. It also covers public speaking, on-camera presence, body language, digital marketing, and the application of artificial intelligence in content creation.
The sessions began with content creator and entrepreneur A. Rawan Al-Atteer, founder and CEO of Octopus AI, who has been training students during the first two weeks of the program. Through these sessions, students were introduced to the world of digital media and the fundamentals of content creation, as well as the importance of developing and presenting ideas in a creative manner.
Commenting on the college’s participation in the program, Dr. Anwar Mohammed Al-Kandari, Assistant Dean of the College of Business Administration at Kuwait Technical College, said:
“We believe that education at the college extends beyond what students acquire within the classroom, encompassing practical experience and direct interaction with specialists and experts, thereby providing a deeper understanding of their field of study and labor market requirements. The Influencer+ program is a practical application of this approach, offering our students the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop their skills.”
Farah Al-Saqaf, Executive Member of the Management of Lapa Loyak Academy for Performing Arts, stated: “We believe that youth are the nation’s true wealth, and empowering them begins by providing them with the tools and skills that enable them to express themselves and make a positive impact on their community.”
