Al-Milhem: Hosting Diplomatic Delegations at Kuwait University Enhances Civilizational and Scientific Communication

Dr. Dina Al-Milhem, President of Kuwait University, met with a delegation from the Turkish Republic’s Diplomatic Hospitality Program on the sidelines of their official visit to the Sabah Al-Salem University City, which was developed in collaboration with the Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in the presence of Dr. Noura Al-Suwaidan, Acting Secretary-General of the University.

She emphasized that the University is committed to opening avenues for cultural and academic exchange and consolidating its standing among leading regional and international educational institutions, in line with its vision and developmental strategy, and as an implementation of the pillar of distinguished presence within Kuwait University’s strategy.

The delegation began its visit this morning with a tour of the Visitors Center, which included a visual presentation outlining the stages of the development of Sabah Al-Salem University City, followed by a visit to the Grand Hall (Al-Dana).

The visit aimed to familiarize the delegation with the facilities of the university city and to learn about Kuwait University’s academic system, as well as the city’s role as a distinguished cultural landmark in the country.

The tour also included visits to the College of Law and its library, where the delegation observed the courtroom designated for moot court competitions. The visit concluded with a meeting between the delegation and Prof. Dr. Sami Abdullah Al-Darwish, Acting Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and Graduate Studies at the College of Law, and Dr. Bashair Al-Ghanim, Acting Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.
