Kuwaiti Competitor Finishes Third in World Jet Ski Championship in Arizona

Kuwaiti competitor Rashid Al-Dawas, a player for the Kuwait Marine Sports Club, secured third place in the second round of the International Jet Sports Boating Association World Championship, held in the Pro Stock class in Arizona, USA, with 250 competitors from 32 countries participating.

Mohamed Al-Zanaki, chairman of the board of directors of the Kuwait Marine Sports Club, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this result represents a distinguished sporting achievement added to Kuwait’s record of accomplishments in marine sports in one of the strongest Pro Stock categories (Pro Run Boat), reflecting the technical capabilities and competitive level of Kuwaiti champions, which qualify them to compete with the world’s elite and raise the Kuwaiti flag at international events.

Al-Zanaki added that the significance of this achievement is heightened given the strength of competition in this category, noting that the 2026 World Championship series consists of three rounds to be held in Bulgaria, the United States, and Thailand, “giving our champions the opportunity to prove their presence on the global stage.”

He emphasized the Kuwait Marine Sports Club’s commitment to supporting its players and providing suitable conditions for them to achieve further honorable results that reflect Kuwait’s sporting standing.

The championship was held in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA, from October 3 to 11.
