Interior Ministry wins the Super Cup title with a four-goal victory over Electricity

The Ministry of Interior team claimed the Super Cup title for ministries, institutions, and government bodies in football, after a well-deserved 4-1 victory over the Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy. The match took place on Sunday evening at Al-Nasr Sports Club’s stadium, attended by Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Youth and Sports, Bashar Abdullah, and Assistant Director General for Education and Coordination at the Ministry of Interior, Colonel Rakan Nawaf Ahmed Al-Nawaf.

The “Interior” side imposed its dominance from the outset. Fahd Marzouq opened the scoring, Abdulaziz Saud added a second, Ahmed Jaber extended the lead to 3-0, and Nasser Faleh completed the quartet, while Raed Arif scored the sole goal for the Electricity Ministry.

With this triumph, the “Interior” team is close to opening the season with two titles, as it prepares to face the National Guard in the Indoor Super Cup final at 7:30 p.m. next Tuesday at Al-Yarmouk Sports Club’s indoor arena.

The tournament, organized by the Public Authority for Sports, is part of its efforts to broaden the base of sports participation among government employees and foster a competitive atmosphere outside the workplace.
