Al-Yousef chairs coordination meeting with Al-Omar and CEOs of telecom companies

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef chaired a coordination meeting attended by the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs and Acting Minister of Media and Culture Omar Al-Omar, CEOs of telecommunications companies, and several security leaders to discuss a number of issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, several administrative and regulatory aspects were reviewed, and measures related to them and ways to facilitate their implementation were discussed, alongside exploring coordination among relevant authorities to help organize work, remove obstacles, and find appropriate solutions to the issues at hand.

The meeting comes in line with the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to follow up on shared matters with government entities and the private sector, and to enhance cooperation on them, thereby supporting the smooth continuation of operations and the completion of related procedures in accordance with approved frameworks, and serving the public interest.
