Kuwait Projects Company (Holdings) – KIPCO – announced the launch of the fourth edition of the “Inbat” program, designed to prepare youth for the labor market. The program involves 30 recent university graduates, aiming to equip them with practical skills that enhance their readiness to enter the professional world and successfully transition from academia to the workplace.

Hosted by the American University of Kuwait, the program attracted significant interest, with 350 young men and women applying. Thirty participants were selected after passing through multiple rounds of personal interviews. The participants come from diverse backgrounds, with varied experiences and perspectives, contributing to enriching the training experience and fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork in an environment that simulates modern workplace dynamics.

On this occasion, Eman Al-Awadi, First Deputy President for Communications and Investor Relations at the Group, stated, “The Inbat program embodies KIPCO’s commitment to investing in youth and empowering them to acquire the necessary skills and confidence to launch their professional careers. The fourth edition of the program underscores the importance of initiatives that help bridge the gap between academic education and labor market requirements. As work environments continue to evolve and their demands change, we strive to update the program’s content to keep pace with these developments. This year, we added a new focus on the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in the workplace, alongside practical workshops aimed at preparing participants to leverage available opportunities and face future challenges.”

“Inbat” was designed in collaboration with en.v, a non-profit organization specializing in designing programs that enhance collaboration and communication among various segments of society. The program spans nine weeks, with one training session held weekly.

The program focuses on four main pillars: critical thinking, effective communication, design thinking, and workplace culture and skills application. Through interactive workshops and group activities, participants work on developing their problem-solving abilities, adaptability to change, and teamwork skills, as well as enhancing their leadership capabilities.

The training sessions are delivered by seven trainers prepared by en.v, who possess practical experience in the private sector, including operations management, academic research, digital marketing, architecture, investment, data science, and consulting for development projects.
