New European Sanctions on 1,600 Individuals and Entities Linked to Russian Military Industry

The European Union approved new sanctions on Monday against approximately 1,600 entities and individuals, all linked to Russia’s war against Ukraine, according to EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas.
Kallas stated on the X platform, “This is the largest expansion of our sanctions list since Russia launched its war. Europe is once again demonstrating its unity,” adding that “more than half of those sanctioned are connected to the ballistic missile production chain.”
