The Quartet Group (the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the Republic of Turkey) strongly condemned the ongoing hostile attacks launched by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the despicable attacks that targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in the death and injury of several civilians, as well as damage to infrastructure and civilian facilities, constituting a blatant violation of international law.

In a joint statement, the Group reaffirmed that these attacks represent a blatant assault on the Kingdom’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, a direct threat to its security and stability and to the safety of civilians, and a serious escalation that cannot be justified or accepted under any pretext.

The Group also expressed its full solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for all lawful measures and steps taken to counter these attacks, deter the sources of threat, and prevent their recurrence, in defense of the Kingdom’s security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, and to protect the safety of its citizens and residents, in accordance with the United Nations Charter and international law.

The Group placed full responsibility for these attacks and their consequences, which threaten regional and international peace and security, on the Houthi militia, and called for an immediate and unconditional halt to these attacks.
