Commercial Bank of Kuwait continues to support educational and youth initiatives by participating as a Gold Sponsor of the International Higher Education Exhibition, held over two days at the Badriya Hall in the Jumeirah Al Mesila Beach Hotel & Resort. The event features a select group of local and international universities and colleges from more than 14 countries, offering students in Kuwait opportunities to learn about undergraduate and postgraduate programs, while enabling students, parents, and interested parties to engage directly with representatives of participating educational institutions and explore academic programs and admission requirements.

On this occasion, Badour Al-Bu-Khamseen, Assistant General Manager of the Marketing Department – Retail Banking Sector at the Bank, stated: “Commercial Bank is committed to supporting initiatives that empower youth and enhance their educational opportunities, driven by our belief that investing in education is an investment in Kuwait’s future. Our participation as a Gold Sponsor of the International Higher Education Exhibition underscores our commitment to supporting students and helping them discover the academic opportunities and options available to them, thereby contributing to building a generation equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to shape a better future.”

Al-Bu-Khamseen added that this sponsorship is part of the Bank’s ongoing efforts in corporate social responsibility, emphasizing its support for educational initiatives that contribute to community development and youth empowerment, recognizing young people as a fundamental pillar in building Kuwait’s future. It also aligns with the Bank’s efforts to promote its banking services, which are specifically designed to meet the needs of a broad segment of society.

She further explained that, in line with its responsibility to promote financial inclusion, the Bank offers the “YOU” account to students and youth aged 15 to 25. This savings account comes with a special package for students who transfer their student allowances. Designed to be simple and digital, the account offers numerous rewards and digital banking services tailored to the daily needs of young people. Additionally, the Bank provides prepaid cards that serve as the ideal companion for students traveling abroad, as they are multi-currency cards that can be loaded with more than one foreign currency, offering ease of use, reliability, and high security standards.
