Foreign Minister discusses bilateral relations with Yemeni counterpart over phone, outlines ways to strengthen ties

Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call today, Sunday, from Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zoba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the sisterly Republic of Yemen.

During the call, Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah reaffirmed Kuwait’s support for the legitimate Yemeni government, as well as for the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of the sisterly Republic of Yemen. The two sides also reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them, discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, and exchanged views on the latest developments in the regional landscape.
