After 'America's Gulf,' Trump Considers Naming Either the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean 'Trump Ocean'

US President Donald Trump floated the idea of renaming the Strait of Hormuz the “Trump Strait,” hinting at the possibility of further changes to geographical names, including naming either the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean the “Trump Ocean” or the “Americas Ocean.”

Trump made these remarks at a rally in Tennessee on Saturday, saying he had previously changed the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America,” adding, “We need a river, and we need an ocean,” before saying, “Before I leave office, I think we should have an ocean,” without announcing any official plans for the renaming.
