Al-Shabab Al-Kuwait's 'Salla' Club Meets Beirut

The Al-Salmiya Club men’s basketball team will face Lebanon’s Beirut Club tomorrow at 9:00 p.m., as part of Group 2 of the 38th Arab Club Championship, currently being held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, and running until October 20.

Al-Salmiya began their campaign with a thrilling 77-76 victory over Yemen’s Shabab Hadhramaut, overturning a deficit to secure the win. Meanwhile, Beirut defeated Syria’s Homs Al-Fida 89-70, and Qatar’s Al-Arabi beat Lebanon’s Hobus 89-61.

Five matches are scheduled for tomorrow. In Group 2, Qatar’s Al-Arabi will face Syria’s Homs Al-Fida, and Lebanon’s Hobus will take on Yemen’s Shabab Hadhramaut. In Group 1, Qatar’s Al-Rayyan will play against Bahrain’s Al-Manama, Lebanon’s Markazi will face Oman’s Seeb, and Syria’s Ahli Aleppo will meet Lebanon’s Hekmeh.
