Al-Jalahma: The State is Committed to Hosting Innovative Initiatives

In line with the state’s commitment to supporting the digital content industry and empowering youth talent, the competitions of the “Thirty Challenge” digital program concluded on Friday. As one of the most prominent interactive sports programs on YouTube, the show combines football knowledge with competitive challenges in a modern entertainment format that attracts football fans across the Arab world.

The program, hosted by Assistant Al-Fawzan via his YouTube channel, achieved record-breaking figures. The final episode, titled “Audience Cup Final – Season 3,” garnered 2.9 million views within just 14 hours of its broadcast. Meanwhile, the semi-final episodes, “The Last Battle” and “The Big Battle,” surpassed 1.9 million and 1.8 million views, respectively, reflecting the massive audience engagement and the program’s popularity as one of the most successful digital Arabic sports content programs.

The competitions culminated the night before yesterday with Kuwaiti Abdulrahman Al-Shatti being crowned the Audience Cup champion in the third edition of the Thirty Challenge, after defeating his Jordanian opponent, Ahmed Khader, in the final match with a score of 38-25.

Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, Dr. Tariq Al-Jalahma, stated in an interview with KUNA after sponsoring and attending the final, that the state seeks to nurture initiatives that harness youth energy and creativity and keep pace with developments in digital media.

Al-Jalahma said that this sponsorship embodies the state’s dedication to supporting innovative youth initiatives and strengthening the presence of the sports and entertainment content industry in the local and regional landscape.

He added that including the event within the activities of the “Kuwait Youth and Sports Season” and the “Visits Kuwait” app aims to enhance integration between youth and sports events and the tourism sector, while promoting Kuwait as a destination for hosting large-scale activities and events that contribute to revitalizing tourism and highlighting the country’s organizational capabilities and distinctive youth potential.

He clarified that supporting such programs represents an investment in national talent and an opportunity to empower youth to deliver meaningful and innovative content reaching a broader audience, reaffirming the ongoing efforts to provide an environment that fosters youth creativity and to strengthen Kuwait’s position as a hub for sports and entertainment events in the region.
