Al-Kuwait Crushes Al-Nasr 7-1 in Premier League Round Four

Al-Kuwait’s first team swept past their hosts, Al-Nasr, by a score of 7-1 in the fourth round of the Zain Premier League.

With this result, Al-Kuwait’s tally rose to 10 points, taking the top spot, while Al-Nasr remained on 6 points in fourth place.

Al-Kuwait imposed their dominance in the first half, while Al-Nasr relied on defensive solidity, launching counterattacks, the most dangerous of which was missed by Fawaz Mabilish.

Al-Nasr’s Algerian substitute, Ayman Lakkad, led a dangerous attack, but the ball struck the left post of Al-Kuwait goalkeeper Saud Al-Houshan, rebounded to him, and he delivered a cross that Arsen Zola accidentally deflected into his own net, equalizing for Al-Nasr in the 53rd minute.

In the 63rd minute, Ali Hussein capitalized on a mistake by Moriba Diallo, passing to Taha Yassin Al-Khineisi, who shot and scored Al-Kuwait’s third goal.

Two minutes later, Al-Khineisi added his second personal goal and Al-Kuwait’s fourth, after which Ahmed Al-Dhafiri scored the fifth with a header, following a shot by Abdullah Al-Qarzai that rebounded off the crossbar.

In the 83rd minute, Faisal Zaid scored Al-Kuwait’s sixth goal from a direct free kick, before Amr Abdel Fattah capped the goal-fest by netting the seventh in the 88th minute.
