Foreign Minister Discusses with UN Official Efforts to Locate Missing Kuwaitis and Recover Kuwaiti Property

Kuwait’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Jaraah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, received today, Thursday, Mary Yamashita, the Secretary-General’s High Representative for implementing Security Council Resolution 2792 (2025) concerning the follow-up on the file of Kuwaiti missing persons and third-country nationals, and the return of Kuwaiti property, including the National Archives, during her official visit to the State of Kuwait, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs via its X platform account.

The meeting discussed efforts aimed at achieving tangible progress in the search for Kuwaiti missing persons and third-country nationals, determining their fate, and recovering Kuwaiti property, including the National Archives.
