The Atlantic: White House Requests Pentagon Plan for Airstrikes on Iran

The American magazine The Atlantic reported that after months of sporadic fighting, the United States has not launched any attacks on Iran for several weeks. This relative calm coincides with the final phase of the midterm election campaign, and President Trump was expected to want it to continue until November 3 so as not to remind voters of an unpopular war that could negatively affect Republican candidates across the country. But that may not be what happens.
