FTSE Russell Keeps Kuwait in 'Secondary Emerging Markets' Category

FTSE Russell maintained the ratings of the Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar markets within the list of secondary emerging markets unchanged, and kept Bahrain’s market classified as a frontier market, as part of its annual review completed yesterday.

It also removed Egypt from the watchlist for a potential downgrade from secondary emerging market to frontier market, keeping it in the secondary emerging market category after it met the required criteria.
