Fifth Round of Political Consultations Between Kuwait and the Czech Republic Held in Prague

On Tuesday, the fifth round of political consultations between the Kuwaiti and Czech Ministries of Foreign Affairs took place in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The Kuwaiti side was led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hamad Al-Mushaan, while the Czech side was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Maria Chatarova.

The consultations addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance and develop them across various fields, as well as discussing the latest developments on the regional and international stages.

The consultations also featured a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding between the Kuwaiti Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute and the Czech Diplomatic Academy regarding cooperation in diplomatic training and capacity building. The document was signed on behalf of the Kuwaiti side by Ambassador Al-Mushaan, and on behalf of the Czech side by Dana Kovarjikova, Director General of the Diplomatic Academy under the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
