Fifty-three years after the October 1973 victory, Egypt is reviving the memory of the battle through cultural and artistic expressions, ranging from traditional crafts to music and song. Under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture’s celebrations, cultural palaces participated in the “October Memory” exhibition at the October Panorama, featuring diverse artistic and cultural contributions.

The pavilion of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces transformed into a space bringing together literature, heritage, and artistic performances, celebrating the anniversary of the victory and reinforcing its presence in public consciousness. The Authority, under the leadership of artist Hisham Atwa, took part in the 19th edition of the annual “October Memory” Military Cultures Exhibition, organized by the Military Research Authority at the October Panorama, as part of the Ministry of Culture’s program commemorating the 53rd anniversary of the October victory.

This participation is part of a broader cultural and artistic program prepared by the General Authority for Cultural Palaces to honor the anniversary of the victory. Its activities will continue throughout the month across various governorates, featuring artistic performances, educational seminars and talks, literary and poetic evenings, and creative workshops for children, aiming to keep the memory of October alive through art and culture alongside historical narratives.
