The official spokesperson for the “Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen,” Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, announced on Monday that the coalition’s naval forces carried out a military operation in Al-Hudaydah Governorate, targeting and destroying legitimate military assets belonging to the Houthi militia.
Speaking via his official account on the X platform, General Al-Maliki stated that the operation resulted in the destruction of weapons depots, warehouses housing rigged boats, and naval mines owned by the Houthi militia.
He added that the operation helped thwart imminent attacks targeting waterways in the southern Red Sea, noting that it aligns with the coalition’s objectives to safeguard maritime navigation security in the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
