Kuwait and Bahrain: Strengthening Economic Partnership

Bahrain’s Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, affirmed today that Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations are solid and deep, enjoying mutual care and attention from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad, and his brother, the Bahraini King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Kuwaiti Embassy in Bahrain stated in a statement received by KUNA that this came during Sheikh Khalid’s reception of Kuwait’s Ambassador to Bahrain, Jasem Al-Najim, at his office in the Qibbia Palace, on the occasion of the ambassador assuming his duties.
The embassy added that Sheikh Khalid highlighted the advanced levels of cooperation and joint coordination achieved between the two countries, thanks to the persistent follow-up by His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and his brother, the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in a manner that realizes shared visions and brings prosperity and development to both countries and their fraternal peoples.
The embassy noted that both sides praised the unique and robust nature of Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations during the meeting, emphasizing the importance of building on the cooperation and coordination achieved between the two countries to enhance the existing partnership and drive it toward further development in various fields.
The embassy clarified that both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation and bring benefits to both countries and their fraternal peoples, expressing their aspiration to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation in various fields, particularly in the economic and investment sectors, to the benefit of both countries and their fraternal peoples and to support the path of development and prosperity.
According to the statement, both sides emphasized during the meeting their commitment to continuing support for the joint Gulf work process and enhancing cooperation and coordination among the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), in a manner that contributes to elevating the level of Gulf relations and realizing the aspirations of the Council’s countries and peoples.
For his part, Ambassador Al-Najim expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Prime Minister for the warm reception, reaffirming his full commitment to continuing diligent efforts to advance the path of close fraternal relations toward broader horizons of cooperation in various fields.
