Spokesman for the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Majid al-Nazili, stated in a brief remark that the Armed Forces had begun executing a strategic offensive on Sana’a.

In a statement, al-Nazili added that the forces are employing modern capabilities in carrying out the strategic offensive on the Yemeni capital.

Earlier on Monday, Brigadier General Majid al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced that government forces had taken control of the Bab al-Mandab area and the road leading to the coastal city of Al-Mukha in Ta’iz Governorate, following a military flanking maneuver involving the “Giants” and “Homeland Shield” forces.

On Sunday, Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, announced the start of military operations to reclaim the remaining territories of the Republic and extend state authority over the entire national territory. Today, the launch of the operation, named “Fajr al-Yemen,” was announced, with the objectives of restoring state institutions, liberating the capital Sana’a, and ending the Houthi militias’ coup.
