Deputy Minister of Health Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah visited the students receiving medical care to check on their condition and assess the level of medical services provided to them, immediately after receiving the report, as part of the Ministry of Health’s follow-up on the health cases of students who suffered asphyxiation incidents at one of the secondary schools.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister reviewed the progress of medical teams’ follow-up on the cases and listened to briefings on the care and measures taken, emphasizing the importance of continuing to provide all necessary health services and mobilizing available resources to ensure the students’ care and ongoing monitoring of their conditions in accordance with the medical assessment of each case.
Sheikh Dr. Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah directed relevant health facilities and medical teams to continue monitoring and caring for the cases, providing the highest standard of healthcare, while maintaining coordination with the Ministry of Education and competent authorities.
