Yamal Earns La Fuente's Praise

Lamine Yamal continued his remarkable brilliance with the Spanish national team, scoring for the third consecutive match during the current international break, an achievement that has never before been accomplished with the national side.

Yamal scored for Spain in the sixth minute of their 3-1 victory over the Czech Republic, after having netted in the second minute against England, and then scored two goals and provided an assist against Croatia. This brings his tally to 12 goals and seven assists in his last nine matches for both Barcelona and his national team.

Yamal’s goal against the Czech Republic came from a stunning strike from the edge of the penalty area that found the far corner of goalkeeper Antonín Kinský’s net, igniting the crowd at Carlos Tartiere Stadium.

At 19 years old, Yamal has now scored 11 goals in 36 international appearances.
