The Ministry of Social Affairs has set the date for the re-administration of the supervisory position exam for cooperative societies for next Saturday, October 10, at the Gulf University for Science and Technology in the Mubarak Al-Abdullah area.

According to instructions issued to applicants, the exam will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Hall N3-201-A, via Gate 1. Applicants are strongly urged to arrive half an hour before the exam start time and to bring their original civil ID or an official proof of identity. The exam hall will close at 3:00 p.m., and no applicant will be permitted entry after the exam has begun.

The re-administration of the exam for all applicants follows observations and complaints regarding previous tests that sparked widespread controversy, ultimately leading to the ministry’s decision to re-administer the exam under clear and publicized regulations that ensure equality and equal opportunity for all candidates.

Earlier, Al-Jarida newspaper revealed that the previous exam saw a near-universal failure among Kuwaiti nationals applying for supervisory positions in cooperative societies. This prompted Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaili to direct ministry leadership to form an independent and urgent investigative committee to review all procedures related to the exam.

Minister Al-Huwaili affirmed that the new exam will be conducted under clear and publicized regulations, with questions guaranteed to be linked to the announced academic material and the nature of the positions being tested. Additionally, audio and video monitoring will be provided to enhance procedural integrity and ensure equal opportunity among applicants.
