Al-Wahib: Kuwaiti keen on expanding joint cooperation with Turkey

Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wahib held talks today, Tuesday, with Turkish Deputy Minister of Justice Sadat Ayildiz on ways to enhance security and criminal cooperation and coordination, as well as to exchange expertise, thereby contributing to the development of operational mechanisms and raising the level of institutional performance.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior stated in a press release that Major General Al-Wahib, at the outset of the meeting held in the presence of Kuwait’s Ambassador to Turkey, Mohammed Al-Shabou, conveyed greetings and appreciation from the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Sabah, to the Turkish Deputy Minister of Justice. He emphasized Kuwait’s commitment to strengthening cooperation frameworks and developing areas of joint work with the friendly Republic of Turkey, reflecting the deep and distinguished relations between the two countries.

For his part, the Turkish Deputy Minister of Justice welcomed Major General Al-Wahib’s visit and that of the accompanying delegation, underscoring the importance of continuing to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides in a manner that serves shared interests and strengthens the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.
