Deputy Minister of Interior Inspects Turkish Experience in Developing Security and Reform Systems

Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdul Wahab Ahmed Al-Wahayb, accompanied by his delegation, visited the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Centers under the Turkish Ministry of Justice. During the visit, he reviewed the latest systems and modern technologies employed to enhance the operational framework and improve operational and security efficiency. He was received by the Director General, Mr. Celbi Yilmaz, and several other officials.

The Deputy Minister also reviewed the rehabilitation and training programs designed for inmates, which encompass professional and behavioral aspects aimed at developing their skills and strengthening their capabilities. These initiatives contribute to preparing inmates for positive reintegration into society after serving their sentences, while reinforcing a reform and rehabilitation approach alongside security measures.
