Kuwait, represented by the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, participated in the 32nd meeting of the Committee for Electrical and Water Cooperation at the level of Undersecretaries of Ministries and relevant entities in the electricity and water sectors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The meeting was held via video conference, presided over by the Kingdom of Bahrain, which holds the presidency for the current 2026 term, with the participation of Undersecretaries of Ministries and relevant entities from GCC member states, and the attendance of representatives of the GCC Secretariat General.
The Kuwaiti delegation was chaired by Dr. Adel Al-Zamil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy. The meeting discussed several agenda items, including memoranda and recommendations submitted by technical committees and specialized working groups, reviewed updates on joint GCC cooperation tracks in the electricity and water sectors, and monitored the implementation of previous decisions and recommendations.
