Ministry of Education: Leveraging Finnish Expertise and Experiences to Develop Education

Education Minister Sayed Jalal Al-Tabatabaee held talks today with a delegation from the Republic of Finland on ways to foster joint cooperation in educational fields and to benefit from Finnish expertise and experiences in developing education.

In a press statement, the Ministry of Education said the meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest in the educational sector, alongside exploring opportunities to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides, thereby supporting the development of educational practices and leveraging international experiences in relevant areas.

The statement emphasized the importance of expanding international cooperation in the education sector to keep pace with global developments and contribute to advancing educational development and achieving its desired objectives.

The Finnish delegation included Jarno Sirjala, Undersecretary of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for International Trade; Juha Mustonen, Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to Qatar and Non-Resident Ambassador to Kuwait; Jarkko Skantzi, Acting Director of the Education Program at the Finnish National Agency for Education; and Sara Stenroos, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Finland in Doha.

In a separate statement, the Ministry of Education said applicants can check the status of their applications by monitoring the “Application Status” section on the electronic “Ta” platform, urging them to continue following the platform to stay updated on new developments and complete any required procedures within the specified deadlines.

It added that the availability of an electronic appeal service is part of efforts to streamline procedures and facilitate applicants’ access to related services, thereby contributing to faster processing of transactions and enhancing the efficiency of established procedures.
