"The Ball" apologizes to fans and promises to correct mistakes

The Kuwait Football Association extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the loyal fans who steadfastly supported the senior national team and stood by it during its participation in the 27th Gulf Cup, particularly in the matches against Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

The Association expressed its apologies to the “Blue” fans and followers after the national team failed to advance to the semi-finals, following its 3-2 defeat to the Iraqi national team.

The Association confirmed on the social media platform X that both the technical and administrative staff would submit a comprehensive report detailing the reasons for the team’s elimination from the tournament, identifying the shortcomings observed during the campaign, and working to implement appropriate solutions to address them. This effort aims to enhance the team’s performance and achieve better results in future competitions.

In recognition of the fans’ significant role in supporting the national team in recent months, the Kuwait Football Association announced that it would provide them with free tickets to attend all matches of the Saudi Super Cup, scheduled to be held at the Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in December next year.
