The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources announced on Sunday that its Information Systems Center has completed the implementation of an electronic messaging system for all of the Authority’s correspondence. This initiative aims to develop the institutional work environment, enhance digital transformation, and improve the governance of administrative procedures.
In a press statement, the Authority said the system enables the electronic management and circulation of correspondence among its various sectors and departments, contributing to accelerating the workflow, boosting operational efficiency, enhancing the accuracy of transaction documentation, enabling traceability, and reducing reliance on paper-based correspondence.
The Authority clarified that this step aligns with the directives and support of the Minister of State for Development and Sustainability, Dr. Reem Al-Faleh, to accelerate digital transformation within entities under her supervision and to develop procedures in accordance with the principles of governance, transparency, and efficiency, thereby raising the quality of institutional performance and strengthening oversight and accountability.
The Authority emphasized that the completion of the electronic messaging system represents one phase of a comprehensive plan to update the Authority’s digital systems and services, noting that work continues to develop and integrate systems to simplify procedures, reduce documentation cycles, and improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
The Authority commended the efforts of the Information Systems Center and all sectors and departments that contributed to the project’s completion, reaffirming its commitment to implementing digital transformation initiatives in line with the state’s direction toward a more efficient and sustainable government.
