Tenders Committee Postpones Bids for "Linking Al-Sabahia South to Sewerage" to October 13

The Central Tenders Board announced the postponement of the bid submission deadline for the project to connect the South Al-Sabahia area to the public sewage network to October 13 of next year, instead of the previous date set for September 20.

The project is part of efforts to connect the South Al-Sabahia area to the public sewage system, aiming to provide sewage services to the area by linking it to the existing network. The Board set the new bid submission date after delaying the previous one.

In a separate development, the Ministry of Public Works continues asphalt paving works in the Seville area, as part of road maintenance and rehabilitation projects carried out by the ministry under new contracts. These efforts aim to enhance the efficiency of the road network and improve the level of infrastructure in the area.

The works involve laying asphalt layers on targeted roads, contributing to the rehabilitation of sections requiring renewal, improving road surface quality, and enhancing driving conditions and safety for road users, while also maintaining road efficiency and sustainability.

The asphalt paving works in Seville are part of the ministry’s road maintenance program across various regions of the country, which relies on new contracts to carry out maintenance according to the specific needs and road conditions of each area.

The ministry also places great importance on maintaining internal roads and highways as part of its plan to upgrade the road network, address signs of deterioration, subsidence, and cracks resulting from usage and various factors, thereby preserving road efficiency and improving service levels across different regions and on highways.
